Excellent Presentation Award at the Japanese Society for Hygiene is selected from the general presenter (narration or explaining) who has claimed themselves as a candidate for the award at the academic conference of the Japanese Society for Hygiene. The objective is to encourage the activity of young researchers by selecting about 3 people among students and young researchers based on their abstract and the content of presentation.
- Requirement for the candidate
They must be younger than 40 years old on December 31 of the year prior to the academic conference. If they took parental leave or childcare leave during their career, they can subtract the period from their age to be under 40 years old for the application.
- Subject presenters
The subjects are the general presenter (narration or explaining) who has claimed themselves as a candidate for the award at the academic conference. Around 3 people are selected among students and young researchers.

The screening of the abstract for the presentation and content of the presentation are examined by the committee of revitalization of young researchers. Commendation is held at the same time as the academic award commendation after the conference and the director of the Japanese Society for Hygiene present the award. Only the certificate is awarded and there is no secondary award.
- Obligation after the award
The awarded research is recommended by the committee to be contributed in EHPM in 2 years as original contribution by the award recipient. However, the peer review is done in the same way as the general contribution.
